As part of the wider plans for the redevelopment of Guildford Station, Fatkin was appointed by specialist contractor Circet to develop the design of the MSCP for Circet’s client, Solum.

The MSCP is directly adjacent to Guildford Station and live rail tracks and will in the future become a Network Rail asset. Compliance with Network Rail requirements is paramount and coordination between different stakeholders is required. The building incorporates an existing live comms room serving the station, to be protected at all times throughout the construction process.

Fatkin is leading a multi-disciplinary team delivering a complex build and coordinating the Network Rail approvals process with Dan Gullock acting as architectural CRE. The building provides 628 parking spaces including disabled parking and electric vehicle charging bays.
