A competition entry for the Royal Parks in collaboration with Ben Gough and Bloomworks.

The design took inspiration from the life cycle of a rose.

 

15mm thick copper plate with a single twist is the primary material, selected for its natural patina and evolution as it weathers over the lifetime of the garden, mirroring the colour changes of a wilting rose.
