Fatkin was appointed by a local developer to lead the design team for the conversion of an existing disused Grade II listed public house and outbuildings to residential use in a town centre location in Liskeard, Cornwall.

We carried out a full survey of the property before developing a scheme that converted the existing main building into 5no. 1-bed apartments, the main outbuilding into 2no. 2-bed cottages and added a pair of new semi-detached houses in the garden and former car park at the rear.

The listed status of the property meant close coordination with the LPA and historic environment team was critical to gaining support for the scheme. Fatkin steered the project through the pre-app and PPA process before going on to achieve full planning and listed building consent.
