Fatkin was appointed by Dartford & Gravesham NHS Trust to review the existing layout of the hospital main entrance and parking arrangements, including taxi, bus, ambulance and logistics vehicles around the site.

Fatkin carried out a detailed study of the existing site and spoke to stakeholders including the parking operator and the Trust, before developing a range of options for re-configuration of the site.

Options ranged from a ‘do minimum’ scenario through to a comprehensive reconfiguration including a new café space with outdoor seating, new bus stops, new cycle storage and a new parking operator office/public help-point.
