As part of the wider redevelopment plans for a healthcare site in Northamptonshire, Fatkin was appointed to carry out a feasibility study into a new transport hub. The assessment needed to identify where additional parking and transport capacity could be added on the facility’s site, whilst enabling the future growth of the facility.

Our initial feasibility study reviewed the parking deficit at each proposed phase of the redevelopment and identified where it would be possible to add capacity, and when this would need to come online in order to avoid a short-term issue for staff and visitors.

Fatkin was also instructed to develop the design of a new-build high-quality cycle hub to support the client’s target of improving cycle provision and putting the infrastructure in place to promote the use of more sustainable modes of transport.
